Shared care protocol for patients on acetylcholinesterase inhibitors
NHS North Yorkshire and York have developed a shared care protocol between primary and secondary care so that if the patients on acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (AChEI) are stable they can be transferred back to the GP who will provide a yearly review of their AChEI as part of their routine dementia QOF.
